Dale was daunted by a bit of bad luck! The ride had barely gotten underway, when he discovered that his chain had 'ingested' a large & green greasewood stick! It refused to pass thru the chain guide and was acting just like a serious braking device!
(Actually, the rest of us thought it was rather nice of Dale, who was out in front, to slow down for our benefit... only to find out that nature, and his poor luck, had stepped in to slow his 'iron horse' down!!)
