"Hubcap" & Bouse Rendezvous'

The desert tortise is a protected and endangered species that lives near the same area
that we camp in while we are in the Yuma, AZ area that we have called "Hubcap".
Here are a couple of photos of the little guy. He wandered into our camp one afternoon.

We have been coming to this area for many years now, and this is the first time
that we have seen one! He actually 'scooted' right along.
However, he didn't seem to want to make any new friends!

This is our Motorhome, Van, & motorcycle and the distant view of the Bouse valley.
Okay, We have now moved on to the Bouse, AZ Rendezvous site to be
with some more of our SKP friends. The Bouse, AZ site is beautiful.
We enjoyed it so much that we were able to put up with the poor
phone reception.
(It was all analog and the battery on both of our phones would barely make it for a day.)
We had dropped calls all of the time.

The nice part of Boondocking with the SKP's is that they always allow plenty of space between 'rigs'.
Makes for really nice neightbors!!
