Nevada's US Highway 50

Referenced as The Lonliest Road in the USA! This roadway has an excellent surface and the view varied from good to outstanding. For the life of me, I don't know why they call it the Lonliest Road.... we would see another vehicle about every hour or so! And, we encountered signs of civilization at intervals of maybe every other day!

We are headed to join up with some of our Boondocking Buddies at a place called Kirsch Wildlife Area in Nevada's Outback. The fishing is supposed to be good there and they have a newly finishe RV Dumpsite, plus fresh pressurized water, picnic tables, million dollar government toilets (aka pit toilets), fire rings and the cost is FREE. It is called Dave Deacon Campground and is run by the Nevada Fish & Game Department. There is a fresh running hot water stream nearby with temprature in the mid 70's. ..and fishing for 2 lb trout is only a mile away. Limit 10 per day! GOOD, GOOD, GOODY!
